MY STORY
A life shaped by creativity, family, memories and learning
These photographs tell a small part of my story. They bring together memories of the past, the pleasure of making things with my hands, and the warmth of family life. Each image captures a different thread in the person I have become.
A love of making
Creativity has been part of my life for a long time. The old sewing machine in this photograph is a reminder of a world where making and mending were practical skills, but also sources of satisfaction and imagination.
I have always valued the things that can be created by hand. There is something special about taking an idea, some fabric or materials, and turning them into something useful or beautiful. For me, making is not simply about the finished object, it is about the patience, curiosity and care that go into it.

Memories that connect generations
The black-and-white photograph takes me back to an earlier chapter of life. It captures people together around a table, surrounded by the ordinary details of a shared moment. Photographs like this become precious because they preserve not only faces, but the atmosphere of another time.
Looking back reminds me how much of a life is made up of relationships, shared experiences and the stories that are handed from one generation to the next. The past is part of who I am, and remembering it gives the present a deeper meaning.
Family, joy and the life I am living now
This photograph brings the story into the present. Smiling alongside the younger generation, I am reminded of how much happiness comes from family, friendship and simply being together.
I hope these pictures show more than individual moments. Together they reflect a life filled with people to love, things to learn, memories to treasure and new experiences to embrace.

“The best stories are made from the moments we choose to remember.”

A space that works with you
Sally has dedicated experience welcoming neurodivergent learners. Classes are kept small, the pace is calm, and instructions are clear. Sensory needs and different ways of processing are respected. You can ask for a pause, another explanation, or a different way to try something. No judgement. No need to mask. Just kind, practical support at your own speed.
Qualified to teach
A graduate of education and textiles
In 2026 Sally graduated with a Level 5 Certificate in Education, alongside a Level 5 Certificate of Higher Education — with a particular focus on textiles and special educational needs.
The graduation gown and cap were a proud moment, and the qualification behind them is what she brings to every class: real teaching knowledge, real sewing skill, and the experience to help adults learn in the way that suits them best.
